Pumpkin Craft

(10/6)
The ladies at the Gilmer Library have really impressed me. They are so organized which makes craft time less hectic. While the librarian reads two books, the other librarian is getting the table set and ready for craft time. This is what the table looked like while the kids listened to Halloween stories. Each child has a glue stick, clear tape, an orange cup, six streamers and pumpkin parts (orange circle, hat, mouth, triangle eyes and nose) cut out of card stock paper.

As soon as the librarian is finished reading the last book, she informs the kids what they will be making today and today's craft is WAY cute! Today, Beck was able to sit by his best friends, Kinzie and Lidia.

Kinsey, on the other hand, decided to sit at the opposite end of the table next to Wendy and Will. I kept an eye on her while I helped Beck assemble his project and she never bothered anybody.

We were told to attach the streamers to the cup first then make the pumpkin face.

The hanger was already attached to the top of the cup so all that was left was attaching the pumpkin face to the cup. We have Beck pumpkin hanging on the closet door knob in his room. I recently drove by a house near Nanny's house and they had about four of these on their front door. Before we left the library, Lidia tore every streamer off of hers...aw man! Beck did not want to pose with his craft so this is as good as it gets.
