Decorating a Pumpkin

It's only September 20th and we are ready for Halloween! Why are we ready for Halloween? Maybe it's because we already have our costumes? Maybe it's because we've seen houses that have Halloween decorations in the yard? Maybe it's because we've seen decorations in the stores? Or maybe it's because we are ready to dress up and go trick or treating! I think the answer is All of the Above!

Daddy helped Beck decorate a small pumpkin tonight and this is how it was done. Start with a small pumpkin.

Separate the felt pieces that will be used to glue onto the pumpkin. Spread glue onto each piece and apply.

Using a screwdriver, puncture a small hole for the pipe cleaners to go on the side of the pumpkin and be sure to use glue so they stay in the hole.

Voila! Now, we have a cute pumpkin to look at every day made by Beck.
