A Day Off!

Melissa, Casey's mom, has informed me that things have taken a turn for the worse regarding her mom's health and that they would be moving back to Florida the weekend before we move. She had been looking for another in-home daycare like mine but was having a hard time finding one with a low ratio so she was getting frustrated and bummed that I was moving. Her company is letting her work from home so this is working out perfectly for her. I just hope her mom recovers so that she's able to spend lots of time with her sweet grandchild, Casey.

With that being said, I had Monday, July 25th off and couldn't wait to do something outside the house with the kids! We ran a few errands then ate lunch at McDonald's and the kids played a little bit. Then, we went to the mall play area and they had a blast! Kinsey loves, loves, loves to climb on all of the objects and Beck enjoyed running around.

That evening, Brent kept the kids plus Marcus...Jeff and Jill had to do stuff with the house in Carrollton and I went to Leigh's house to spend time with her, Stu and Tracy before moving away. Stu got cheesy bread and pizza from Papa Murphy's and it was delicious. I usually don't like their pizza but he got chicken bacon artichoke and it was oh-so yummy! And, for dessert, he got the apple pizza which was also delicious!
