Many Blessings

10.28.12

Today, we found two adorable stuffed animals on top of our blow-up pumpkin and had no idea who put them there.  Beck immediately claimed the puppy dog and Kinsey ended up wanted the blue bear.  After taking this picture, I put a message on facebook that we would like to personally thank the person that left the animals at our doorstep.

There is a sweet lady that lives across the street from Sarah.  I've talked to her a couple of times and Brent talked to her once on the square during Yamboree.  Anyway, she stopped by to let us know that she and her husband won several items playing games during Yamboree and they are the ones that gave us the stuffed animals.  How sweet is that!?!  Now I need to pay it forward.  I think she was thrilled to see how much Beck and Kinsey love the animals.

Brent and I got a kick watching the kids care for their new pets...they decided to read to them and make a little bed for them so they could take a nap.  I love it!

Then, Kinsey pretended to take a nap.  So sweet!

Since it was a very chilly day, Brent raked up a giant pile of leaves to burn.  Can you see the tiny camera in Beck's little hands?  He wanted to take a picture of the fire.

It was VERY cold in the house this morning...even Brent was cold!  You know it's cold when Brent is cold!  He tried to turn on the heater but it wouldn't kick on so we built a fire in the fireplace and that was nice.  Brent figured out what part was broken and picked it up the next day.  After he got home, he was able to fix it while I held the skeleton flashlight.  Teamwork!

I am so grateful that there are nice people in this world and that my husband can fix anything!
