The weather is awesome and we didn't have anything planned today so we played at the Country Club. I think we might have a little gymnast on our hands. Kinsey loves to do flips on the floor and today, she grabbed these handle bars and started swinging! I was VERY impressed!
It's so pretty and relaxing out here. Out of the many times we have been here, I've never seen one kid use the playground. I'm still boycotting the Yamboree Park because I feel that it is too dangerous. Kinsey loves going down both slides but Beck will only go down the straight slide and he only went down it once today. He might not love the slide but I do like Beck's flying skills on the swing!
Kinsey was so mad that Beck was using "her" handles that she was trying to push him off and the only reason Beck used them was because Kinsey did. They are a mess!
Beck wanted to play ring around the roses with Kinsey and she had to run fast to keep up with him. I love, love, love this picture!
I think Beck was pretending to be an airplane. Ha! So, so cute!
We came home to eat lunch then went back outside to play some more. Beck got so mad at me for taking this picture but I thought it was so sweet that Kinsey sat in time-out with him after they had been fighting over who would drive the Jeep. They fight often over things but they love each other very much.

Getting Ready for Easter
03.23
Our science project at the park today...fill a jar with warm water, add lots of salt then a hard boiled egg and watch it float! The kids loved it! And, Beck especially loved dying the eggs! He was the last one at the table while the other kids went to play.
My friend, Sarah, showed up with her girls (twins) and we had a good time visiting.
My kids are getting brave climbing this thing...
Beck carried Optimus Prime around the entire time we were at the park!
I think this kid is worn out! It was a bit chilly in the morning but warmed up right before lunch.
We recently discovered that the Parkinson's will be moving in a month so our days of meeting at the park may come to an end. We will miss them so much!

First Soccer Practice
03.22
We got a call from Beck's soccer coach letting us know that practice will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30pm. The first game will be on April 14 and the team name is Kicking Kangaroos...how cute is that!!!
Brent left work early so he could see Beck's very first soccer practice and we were both so proud of Beck. He listened to the coach and did what he was asked to do. Kiki and Pops also came and watched.
The coach told the kids to run across the field then run back. I think Beck wasn't sure what he was suppose to do because he was the last one in the group and he turned around as soon as the other kids started running back to the coach. This is a big learning experience for our little boy! He did much better the next time they ran across the field.
I'm not sure all of the kids were able to show up today since this was kind of a last minute notice.
Beck looks like a natural to me especially since this was his first time to have contact with the soccer ball. We did see one thing that we need to work on...not picking up the ball!

Natalie's Baby Shower
03.18
Originally, I had planned on driving up today to help host Natalie's baby shower but luckily we all came up yesterday and had a fun-filled weekend! The two girls on the left side of the picture below pretty much took care of the decorations and did a great job. I especially loved the little bags of cotton candy on the tree branches and the kids did too after they picked me up!
I ordered the French Toast and loved it!
Natalie ordered Jalapeno soup and I considered getting that too but thought it might be too spicy. The shower was held at Terilli's on Greenville in Dallas and we had the entire second floor which was awesome.
Natalie has been a great friend and I hope our little girls become friends too!
Natalie received a lot of great gifts. Her husband, Jeremy, is a big hunter so little Jackson got a lot of camo clothes and the baby's room is a cabin theme.

Big Tub!
Oh how I miss our big bath tub! Maybe one day we'll have another one. The kids were in need of a bath after playing all day today and there's nothing else to do at our Plano house since there's no cable, Internet or toys. They love bath time! When I take pictures of them in the tub, I always forgot to be wary of their private parts so there are a lot of pictures that I can't post on here. In fact, this is the only picture of them in the tub that's appropriate for the blog.
We love Kinsey's facial expressions! She is so animated!
We all went to bed early tonight which was really nice to catch up on plenty of zzz's especially after a busy and fun-filled day!

Dinner then Park
After Madeline's birthday party, we all loaded up and headed to Pop's favorite restaurant...El Fenix. Kinsey really enjoyed sitting next to Marcus! She wanted to do every thing he did. It was so cute to watch them. And, Beck had to bring in the shark that Daddy bought at the pool store.
This will be Beck's last rendezvous with Noah...Good Times!
Getting these kids to sit still and smile was almost impossible but it's a really cute picture of the cousins!
Right across the street is an awesome park! All of the kids (including grown-ups) had so much fun!
This is when the fun ended...Marcus ran into Beck and Beck ended up with a busted lip. Surprisingly, Beck didn't cry that much.
However, he cried hard when he ran around the tree, his feet slipped and he fell down on the ground. Injury #2 + no nap = very cranky little boy and that's when we headed home. Good-bye Noah...we had so much fun with you this past week and we sure hope you come back very soon!

Happy Birthday Madeline!!!
03.17
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! Today is the day to wear green, it's also the day we are traveling to Plano so Brent can turn on the pump to our pool (not cool to have a green pool even on St. Patty's Day) and it's also Madeline's birthday. Kristen sent me a message this week saying they were having Maddy's birthday party on Saturday afternoon if we happen to be in town. I was so excited she invited us! It was a rainbow themed party and the first thing Beck did when we got there was made a rainbow cloud.
Luckily, for Kristen, this was spring break week so she had time to prepare for the party.
Dorothy, from the Wizard of Oz, showed up to pass out play dough! How exciting!
Then, Beck sat at the table set up to make rainbow necklaces...he made one for Kinsey.
This pinata was super hard to break but Beck and Maddy did a great job hitting it!
Kristen finally tore it open and dumped out the candy/balls. Each kid had a sack to fill and Beck filled his with Twizzlers. I think he grabbed every Twizzler he could find and not anything else.
Too cute!!
Finally get to eat cake! Beck wanted some cake as soon as he saw it! And, he ate two slices!!!
Maddy opened gifts then she passed out party favors. What a fun party!
