First Full Day at the Beach! (part one)

06.23.13

This is our first full day here and we are looking forward to spending it at the beach, lazy river and the indoor pool.  We hung out with the early risers this morning.

This is why Brent and I get along so well...we are both so silly.

I wanted to kick our week off with some yummy pancakes which tasted delicious on the balcony.

What kid doesn't love the beach?  We had so much fun jumping the waves and looking for creatures in the ocean.

We did everything on the 4th floor...we rode the lazy river, played in the inside pool, got in the large hot tub and the kids played on the playground.

The rain is coming!  Perfect napping weather but we hung out instead.

The kids love Kiki's room!  She made each of them a little kit which included crayons, scissors, paper and a folder to hold their art work.  What a great idea and they loved it!

Tonight is a very special night.  We are celebrating Kinsey's 3rd birthday!  She is wearing the dress that Neena bought for her because the theme is Minnie Mouse.

As we were deciding where to go eat dinner, little Miss Kinsey crashed.  I will admit that I learned a lesson today...always take a nap especially when you have played hard all morning.  This will be the shortest nap ever.

On our way to Tacky Jacks, it started raining. Why does it have to rain on our parade?  We called this restaurant before leaving the condo and there was no wait but since they had to close the patio which is their main dining area, it went to over an hour wait!!!  I had to cater to a sleepy and hungry little girl.

Brian and Katherine's friend created this really cool looking iron-on for our family.  I love these shirts!!!
