The school parade is always on Friday and it does not have the big Queen's float or the Ladies-in-Waiting floats but we will see lots of bands, cars and various organizations. Brent parked his truck at the beginning of the parade route so we would have a place to sit and enjoy the parade.
Marcus is a brave little boy...he ran out in the street during the parade and gave the Sonic cup a big hug.
I've been in this parade many years marching with the band during my junior high days and with the Stars drill team during my high school days.
Here are a few floats in today's parade and Kinsey loved waving at the young women.
Once again, Marcus ran out in the street to dance with the New Diana mascot...it was really cute!
Beck and Marcus had more fun being with each other than watching the parade!
Kinsey enjoyed every minute of the parade except for the one time she wanted to give Marcus a kiss.
What's the best way to end today's parade? Smokey the Bear sealed the deal.
A big thanks to Brent for going to the square before the parade began and parking it in a questionable spot so we could have a place to sit!
