Broken Bow - Saturday (part two)

Broken Bow_Mothers day20
We put our swimsuits on after lunch and hit the water.  Kinsey and I are safe since we have big muscles protecting us!

This really nice playground is next to the water.

The rubber tire mulch absorbs heat and it felt really good on Beck's cold skin from being in the cold water.

As we get ready for dinner, we notice the deer is back looking for food.

Poor Beck is exhausted from a long day of activities!  He took a short nap while we drove to the restaurant.

We ate dinner at this place.

There are several things that I loved about the Blue Rooster.  (1.) Everybody sits at a picnic table with butcher paper for the entire family to doodle.  (2.) Patio has large ferns.  (3.) The food is awesome!  Great atmosphere so check it out if you are in the area!  However, don't get the sweet potato fries...they have more of a baked taste instead of a fried taste.

Our talented son took this awesome picture of mommy and daddy!  Thanks Beck!

This restaurant even has picnic tables for little kids to use.  Love it!

We stopped by a gift shop that had many things for us to pose with...enjoy!

On our way back to the lodge, we saw this sweet deer in the woods so we stopped and threw some of our left over chicken in the road.  It came very close to daddy's truck and ate the chicken!  How cool is that!!!
