Easter Sunday

The Easter bunny generously stopped by Kiki and Pops house.

Beck and Kinsey love their treats as well as mommy and daddy.

Off to church!  (A big thanks to Kiki and Pops for the gorgeous Easter outfits!)

We are home and the Easter bunny also stopped by our house!

Then, we worked on cleaning up our new ride for the neighborhood.  All of the cool kids ride their golf cart around here.

It was a wonderful Easter weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the family!  We are especially grateful for our Heavenly Father and for His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. 

Dying and Hunting Easter Eggs

It's a long-time tradition to dye Easter eggs so that's what we did this afternoon.

I didn't want dye on Beck's shirt so we simply removed it.

Who would play tick-tack-toe on Beck's back?  I'm guessing it was daddy!

Now, it's time to hunt eggs and Kiki and Pops did a great job hiding them.  Notice the number on the egg?  We did the hunt like Beck's school..each kid had to look for his/her assigned number.  It really does make the egg hunt last longer and each kid ends up with the same amount of eggs.  It was a lot of fun!

Easter at Kiki and Pops House

After eating lunch at Kiki and Pops house, I walked by the kitchen window and saw a big and strange creature creeping along their front yard.  Wanna know what it is???  I swear it's an ancestor from the Jurassic era!

Poor Bella got a little too close and got a bloody nose. 

We were all amazed watching this old snapping turtle defend itself!

Brent loved taunting the poor thing!  Look at that tail, claws and mouth!!!

Luckily, these are steel toed boots or that bite would have hurt!

You don't see this every day and the kids really enjoyed watching the turtle attack Uncle B's boots and water bottle.

It's that time of year...time to remove the pool cover so the water can start warming up.

The top of the pool cover is the best place for frogs to grow so they were every where after it was removed.  Ava and Lola loved catching them!  (No frogs were harmed.)

Riding the golf cart is so much fun!!!

Lloyd's Easter Egg Hunt (part two)

It was very nice that the little ones were allowed to "hunt" for eggs first and look at Kinsey go!  Ha!

Watch out little ones...the bigger kids are on their way to "hunt" for some candy-filled eggs!  Look at Beck run!  He is on a mission to find a lot of eggs!

This is one happy boy!!!
