Yesterland (continued)

Next to the plane ride was another scenic area and Beck really wanted to get on top of this hay bale but he and Kinsey quickly realized that hay is a little scratchy.

I challenged each of them to pick up a really big pumpkin...

Beck and Kinsey are trying to scare us from atop this wagon...
Yesterland18

Leave it to Kinsey to rock the boat!  And, the kid running this ride only let them go around once!  I am so glad we have the wrist bands and they did not want to ride it again.

Kinsey played in the playground area while Daddy walked back to his truck to get our lunch.  Beck tried to play but could not shake off the ant bite he got after the canoe ride so he stayed on the stroller.

Daddy and I think the army tank ride was the coolest here.

After we attempted to eat lunch (Kinsey threw her sandwich on the ground and Beck stayed focused on the ant bite), the kids played at the rubber duck race for a long time.  Kinsey had nothing to do with the yellow ducks; she only wanted the pink and blue ducks.

This is the slowest train that exists!  Brent claims it was going 1 mph which is about as slow as you can get.  Anyway, we waited for this train and it completely died when Beck and Kinsey wanted to ride it.  The operator told us it would take a while to charge the battery so we promised Beck we would come back to ride it.  Do you think he forgot that promise?  Absolutely, NOT!  Before we left this place, we told him that he could ride one more ride but then we were leaving.  He remembered the train ride which means we had to walk all the way from the front to the back where the train was located which is definitely a long walk.  A few kids were already waiting in line to ride the train and I had a really bad feeling that it was going to die again as it was making its way back but luckily, it hung in there and Beck and Kinsey LOVED riding this train.

Can you tell my hair has lost all curl?  The wind was not my friend today!
Yesterland25

This is by far the most fun pumpkin patch I've ever seen!

Let me tell you about this corn maze...it is approximately three miles and the theme changes each year.  This year they are doing a tribute to Neal McCoy.  If you take an aerial view of this maze, you will see Neal's face, his name spelled out and a few musical notes.  I cannot imagine walking through all of the twists and turns!  I just wanted to check it out and it was interesting to see the people that finally came out.  They all had the same reaction and said, "We made it."  And, they looked completely exhausted!  BTW, there is a life-guard type of box over-seeing the people walk through it in case somebody gets lost, panics and can't get out.

I'm ending our journey with the most memorable moment...the inflatable slide!  We stood in line to go up it and I followed both kids not knowing what would happen when they got up there.  Beck immediately went down it and then Kinsey went down it without me!  I was shocked!  She cried but that's because she was wearing a skirt and got a little burn on the back of one leg.  However, she wanted to do it again so we got back in line.  In the meantime, Beck was cutting in line and he went down it four times in the time it took Kinsey and I to go down it two times!  Kinsey sat in my lap the second time around.

I highly recommend Yesterland and I can't wait to go back next year!  By the way, we were here for almost four hours.  Thanks for the memories!
