We kicked this week off with Kinsey's dance class and this time she held my hand to ensure that I would stay in there with her but I snuck out after their warm-up. She did a great job and loves it! As I watched her through the window, I saw her pull the tutu up under her arms then she pushed it to the ground. The tutu seemed to be a distraction tonight. At the end of class, Carla passed out Halloween cookies to the girls and Kinsey ate it up.
We are spending a lot more time outside now that the weather has cooled off. The leaves are turning colors and it is really pretty in the back yard. However, the pesky mosquito's are still vicious!
Today, Kinsey made a sweet gum ball and acorn pie.
I enjoy taking the kids for a ride in the bike trailer but Beck really enjoys riding his little trike. Kinsey and I walked while he rode his trike and did you notice Kinsey's shoes? She wears her fancy dress-up shoes every where! It cracks me up!
Before we went to the library on Thursday, we did a little art project and painted leaves white then drew a ghost face on them. Beck did not want to use the spray paint can and Kinsey sprayed way too much on her leaf. We used a sharpie to draw the face but paint would have been better.
The library looks spooky with all of the Halloween decorations and this week the kids made a pumpkin.
After eating dinner with Kiki and Pops, Kinsey and I watched the boys pillow fight. Actually, Beck and I started the pillow fight then we got Daddy involved. Beck loved it! Kinsey snuggled under the covers because she was cold.
We put out the Halloween decorations and the yard looks spooky!
We spent Friday afternoon visiting Nanny and she is doing great. We saw her walk down the hall and she picked up Kinsey twice to put her in her lap. Kinsey is about 35 pounds which requires a lot of strength to pick her up. I was impressed with Nanny's skills today. I also enjoyed watching Kinsey give Nanny lots of hugs and kisses and Nanny really enjoyed watching Kinsey show off her dance moves that she has learned so far.
Pops and Kiki went to Dallas today to baby-sit Marcus while Jeff and Jill traveled out of town which means we had two extra seats at the football game tonight. A cold front blew in and by half time, Beck was cold and wanted to go home. Plus, he was tired. Gilmer played Chapel Hill and won again! However, Chapel Hill's band and drill team looked awesome!!!
