We spent Tuesday night at Beck's school and he was so excited to show us his classroom.
One of the many things that we saw in his classroom is the picture he made of himself and I love the blue eyes, yellow yarn used for his hair and that he likes to go to Wal-Mart. Really?! He hasn't been to Wal-Mart in the past three months. I guess he misses going to the grocery store with Mommy!
I love the sensory box full of leaves, acorns and pumpkins!
Kinsey thought we came here to play! She was very upset when we left his classroom.
Mrs. Mason has centers in her room that consist of a kitchen area, a computer, building blocks, etc. Beck's favorite is the drawing center. He really got into showing us how it worked. He told us that he also likes the building blocks center and the computer.
This is where Beck sits every day and he had made two books to show us. All of his supplies are in a bag that is hung on the back of his chair. (Kinsey was ready to color on Nate's books!)
After leaving Beck's class, we walked to the gym for some cookies and punch. Plus, we checked out the silent auction items and the baskets were quite impressive. In the last 15 seconds, Daddy made an offer on a Disney basket for Kinsey but a female that works at the front desk put her name down in the last 3 seconds! It was very exciting! The money raised for each basket went to each child's room and Mrs. Mason's basket sold for $80 which is a steal considering it had two movie tickets, many DVD movies, candy, popcorn, soda's, blanket, etc.
We are so proud of you Beck Lee and we love you very much!!!
Amazing how he knows his hair color and eye color. His art skills are through the roof since starting school!
