The big cold front blew in and it is really, really chilly outside which means we should build a really big bonfire!!! It's 52 degrees outside and Daddy had his two little helpers cut branches and gather sticks for the fire.
I'm so sad that the hat that Jill made for Kinsey is almost too small for her head but I do like her style.
Our burn pile is pretty big and the heat feels really good. Beck and Kinsey are learning several things this morning such as what to do if your pants are on fire...stop, drop and roll.
Daddy found this large toad somewhat close to the fire so he put it in a bucket for Beck and Kinsey so they could really study the frog. Then, we walked close to the creek and set him free.
Beck wanted to watch the frog jump all the way down to the creek but along the way, this toad found a little friend. Can you spot the two frogs in the picture below?
Marcus finally arrived Sunday evening and it was so much fun watching all of them play. Good times!
Beck loves Daddy especially when he plays rough with him!
I love watching them dress up! So cute and so much fun!
