We went to Lowe's Saturday morning to build a firetruck and to our surprise a real firetruck was there. This was the first time that I've seen the Grow and Build workshop set up outside. We were near the firetruck and worked on building the wooden firetruck. A bee buzzed around us and can you believe it stung Beck on his finger! So, that was the end of building anything. Plus, the firefighters got a call and had to leave. What a complete bust!
Brent wanted to look for new shoes and after finding a pair of good looking tennis shoes, we ventured over to the toy section. Beck and Kinsey found swords that is perfect for them because they are made of foam! Greatness! And, they love these swords!
We spent the evening at Pops and Kiki's house watching football and the kids showed off their Halloween costumes. I'd have to say that this was a pretty adventurous Saturday.
