We drove to Ore City's Fun Festival this morning and it was very interesting...so much different than the Yamboree. We saw a horse-drawn carriage giving people rides, a shoot 'em up western show down, a few booths set up to sell food, a dunk booth and a big bounce house which is the one thing my kids wanted to do. It cost $1 per kid for five minutes but nobody was monitoring it. Brent had to hunt down the person to pay for our kids to jump. There was a little boy that kept picking on Beck and Beck finally had enough and said, "You don't mess with me and don't mess with her either...she's my friend!" (He was referring to Kinsey.) I love that he took up for himself and protected his sister! Kinsey jumped so much that her hair clip fell off and I had to crawl in there to get it.
On the way to the festival, we drove by a garage sale and found two great toys for Beck and Kinsey at the perfect price! It only cost us a total of $10 for both the inch worm and the trike! We scored big time!
