We have a big day planned and I'm looking forward to it all! First, we started the morning watching Beck's school do a little parade. His class made hats to wear and flags to wave...plus, they each had a blower. I was really worried he would want to leave with me as soon as he saw me but he didn't or at least I didn't see him get upset when he had to go back to class.
As we waited for Daddy to get home, Beck wanted me to take pictures of him as a soldier.
Today is Nanny's birthday! I think she looks great at 88! We all ate at the Chinese buffet restaurant then had some yummy cake. I really like the way Beck placed the candles on the cake.
Kinsey especially loved the watermelon! That's the best part about buffet's...they have almost every thing!
After dinner, we parked on the grassy area between the old elementary school and the new high school Ag building. The kids started in the back of Daddy's truck then moved to the ground to watch the Aerial Salute and Flyover by the Flight of the Phoenix Aviation Museum's Escadrille. Beck kept saying the loud planes were going to drop cannonballs on us. As you can see, the kids really enjoyed the show.
Afterwards, we visited the firework stand we've been to several times already and they were totally sold out of poppers which is Beck's favorite. We were totally bummed but we did get a few little things to pop tomorrow night. This was a fun-filled day and I'm looking forward to spending 4th of July with my family.
