The kids and I met Daddy in Longview at the Cotton Patch for dinner on this hot summer evening. In fact, it was too hot to do anything outside so we decided to stop at a sporting goods store to look for a baseball bat for Beck.
Beck was super excited and found exactly what he wanted. Daddy threw the ball and Beck hit it! He is a natural at this sport!!!
We stopped at the fireworks stand on the way home and bought more fireworks. Beck likes to try to burn things such as leaves and such just like his Daddy. We got more sparklers but these were not as long as the ones I bought the day before and Kinsey didn't like them.
After we got the kids ready for bed, they wanted blankets tied around their necks and ran around like super hero's...it was really funny! Beck got tired and decided to rest. It amazes me that he can wear winter pj's and still want to wrap up in a blanket as hot as it is outside.
