Jill already set up a play date with her friend and daughter so we tagged along to a place called Indoor Safari Park which is located very close to our old Plano house. The concept of this place is very cool and the kids loved it!
We started with a ride on a mechanical animal. Beck rode a giraffe and Kinsey rode the elephant. I was really surprised that Kinsey stayed on it. I thought she would get scared.
Then, all of our kids headed to the ball pit...oh what fun they had in here!
They also enjoyed jumping on the trampoline and Beck climbed on the netted obstacle course wall.
In the picture below, the kids are playing in the tiny toddler section and they had so much fun! Actually, Beck was too old to be in here and luckily nobody said anything.
Beck and Marcus rode the train but Kinsey did not...she was too scared.
An hour and a half later, it was time to head out and eat lunch then put the little ones (Marcus and Kinsey) down for a nap. Aunt Jill worked her magic on Kinsey and helped her get ready to rest her eyes.
Beck and I took a little road trip to Chick-fil-a...I haven't been there in forever!
Beck watched a really cute movie called Happily N'ever After while the kids slept.
Jeff got off work early and they took Beck and Marcus to Sam's to get stuff for tomorrow's get-together with the entire family (minus Brian, Katherine and Jody). Kinsey and I picked up a birthday cake, plates, balloons and juice boxes. Brent made incredible timing and showed up at Jeff and Jill's just in time for us to go eat dinner. We ate at a Mexican restaurant just down the street from Jeff and Jill's house. After we left the restaurant, I asked Beck if he was ready to go home and his response was, "NO, I want to go to Marcus' house!" He and Kinsey are having a blast with Marcus!
