The baseball fields have been empty this week due to a state-wide Star test which determines how well students are learning the skills and knowledge required by the state. That means every team will play two games on this lovely Saturday. Beck's first game is at 10am which means we need to be there by 9:30am to warm up. To my surprise, the entire team was warming up as we walked up which was very odd. Coach informed us that they had just taken the team picture. What!!! He also said his daughter called every parent on the list but she did not call me! I was so upset that I couldn't say anything. The coach felt really bad and asked one of the mom's if she would ask if we could re-take the team picture but of course the photographer said no. Here's the deal...I'm the only mom that takes pictures at every single game and Brent has helped coach every single game so why did they not call us when they noticed that Beck was missing just to check and see if we got the message? Oh well. Throwing a fit won't accomplish anything.
I love it when Beck gets into this stance (he's on the far right side of the picture).
Kinsey is so happy to see Kiki and Pops!
Beck scored!!!
Beck is so happy that Kiki and Pops are here to watch him play.
Between me and Kiki, we have lots of pictures of Beck playing ball.
Beck scored again!!!
Kinsey actually enjoys watching her brother play ball but she also spends a lot of time playing in the dirt by the pine trees.
Daddy was pretty upset that Beck was left out of the team picture so after the game was over, he told the coach that we would line up the kids so that we could get a team picture. Now I'm one happy mama!
Go Wildcats!!!
