In November 2012, my dear, sweet friend Natalie and her husband, Jeremy, received devastating news that their 7-month old baby boy, Jackson, had been diagnosed with a very rare form of childhood cancer called Infantile Fibrosarcoma. They have been to Children's Hospital in Plano as well as MD Anderson in Houston for numerous tests and chemo. This has been a huge life changing experience for them as well as a very long and trying road.
Their 3-year old daughter, Addison, has been a trooper through this whole process.
To show our support for Jackson and to help beat childhood cancer, their friend, Casey, made "Hope for Jackson Cole Seely" bracelets and sent them to all of their friends and family. We have been praying for Jackson every day. Natalie asked everybody to send her pictures of us wearing the bracelets so she can put them on her Caring Bridge web site which keeps everyone updated with Jackson's progress. She will be able to print the updates she has posted along with all of the pictures into a book for Jackson to one day read.
I had to bribe the kids to be still to get this picture with homemade mac n cheese and it worked. Jackson's surgery to remove the cancer from his leg is in the next few days and many people are praying for this little guy.
Update: The surgery was a success!!!
