Getting Ready for Valentine's Day

Beck has quite a bit of home work to do in his pre-school class so I can only imagine what it's going to be like when he's in kindergarten next year.  He has little books to read, a word list that is sent home each week and this week a note was sent home asking us to bring a shoe box to school so they have plenty of time to decorate it and Valentine's day cards.  Beck did a great job writing his name on all 16 Valentine's day cards for his friends and it was funny to hear him say his hand was tired after the 6th card.  He was really excited to write Mrs. Mason's name on a card.  I wrote her name on a piece of paper and he copied it.  I sure enjoyed watching/helping him with this project!
