Beck went to school on Monday and Wednesday and there were only six kids one day and maybe ten the other. The other pre-school teacher took off this week so Mrs. Mason also had her kids. Each pre-school class consists of almost twenty kids to give you an idea of how shocking it was to see the attendance so bleak. Seems like they should close for spring break week since the majority of kids don't go. Anyway, Mrs. Mason told me she's not coming in today and tomorrow so I decided to not take Beck. They are not learning anything new this week. Plus, Leigh is in town so we met at the library this morning for story time and the kids made a pot of gold.
Then, we took them to the city park and they had so much fun!
They are playing hide and seek.
There's one thing that I always do and that's bring drinks to the park because my kids always think they need one.
We ate lunch at a friend's restaurant with Leigh's mom and it was chaotic but the kids did eat all of their grilled cheese sandwiches. Beck wanted to lick Anderson and Kinsey fell out of her chair right as we were paying our bill. Poor thing landed on her back and hit her head. She was tired and cried hard. She fell asleep on our three-minute drive home so I put her to bed and Beck jumped on the trampoline with Natalie and Anderson. They stayed for about an hour and then they had to pick up their dog from the vet and head home. Beck said it's no fun without his cousins around. He thinks all of his friends are his cousins.
