Carnival

We found out there's a carnival at the Longview mall so we made a beeline for it after eating some pizza for dinner.  We bought 50 tickets for $35 and each ride was 3 tickets so poor Ava, Beck and Lola only got to ride five or six things.  But, they sure had a good time.  (We left Kinsey and Otto with Kiki and Pops.)  The first thing they wanted to do is the Fun House and oh what fun they had!

I'm pretty sure they thought the train ride was boring.

Then, they went through another Fun House!

This was almost like a date night for us because Beck was having so much fun with Ava and Lola.

Who can pass up a funnel cake?  Not us!  We all devoured this delicious piece of sweet dough!

Since we ran out of tickets, we ventured to the game area and played a fishing game which was kind of cute.  You pay $3 to fish until you win.  Most of the fish had the word "small" written on the bottom of the fish and all three kids won a small prize.

Next was the balloon game and Beck threw seven darts and hit six balloons!!!  Brent and I were so shocked.  He won a bigger size prize at this game.

Decisions, decisions...which prize to pick?  He ended up getting a penguin.

Leave it to Uncle B to hit the kids with a blow-up hammer.

What a fun, fun night!!!  The kids ended up eating cotton candy on the way home...guess they won't be going to bed anytime soon.
