We kicked off the first day of June at the library for Sidewalk Art...this is the first of many fun things the library has planned this summer. We saw some really creative art but my kids were mainly intrigued by the water cooler the librarian had outside. Beck and Kinsey got a cup of water, they would drink it then go back to get more. They did this for about 30 minutes!
Then, I needed to pick up a few grocery's and Kinsey found a pair of sunglasses...she looks so cute!
Beck wanted to put on a pair of sunglasses too. Ha! He's pretty cute too!
Later that afternoon, we continued the theme of drawing by using dry erase markers on the refrigerator. This is a picture of Beck's really big smiley face! Beck and Kinsey also enjoyed washing their artwork and they both had to have their own washcloth.
Friday night family fun night consisted of us driving to the football field to watch some of the high school graduation ceremony. We listened to the valedictorian speak until Beck said he was ready to go. Kinsey has all of a sudden developed a fear of the dark and cried when we drove to a dark neighborhood. I really hope she grows out of this phase soon.
Since school is out, Brent is in full swing with remodeling schools which means he will be working on Saturdays now. Boo!
