Kinsey's dance class was scheduled to perform at Holiday in the Park (at Bergfeld Park) at 11:30 this very chilly Saturday morning. I had read that there would be a snow area for the kids so we got up there early to check it out. I'm not really sure what I was thinking by not putting warm boots on the kids feet! All of the dancers were asked to wear red and green which is how one of the organizers of Holiday in the Park talked to me about the performance. She informed me that it had been canceled due to bad weather. I was a bit disappointed because Kinsey's dance teacher did not contact us but it wasn't that big of a deal. However, I did feel sorry for the mom that lugged four kids plus a tiny baby up there. I know she was not a happy camper. I later found out that Janna and Kelly were also very upset. We may not watch Kinsey dance on-stage which she was not excited about anyway but the kids had a blast throwing snowballs at each other and especially enjoyed attacking Daddy! Lol!
