We drove to Dallas Saturday morning, ate lunch at Cotton Patch in Frisco (yum!), let the kids play at the mall then finally made it to our Plano house. Beck has already informed us that he wants to stay at the Plano house for a long time. Uh-oh. I drove to the airport to pick up my mom and I'll explain more about that another time. She was so happy to finally eat a burger and see her grand babies! She stayed at our house while we went to the birthday party at Pump It Up which is the best place I've been to in a long time. The kids get to run around and have fun which is why I think this place is awesome!
In fact, the adults had as much fun as the kids! This was Kinsey's first time to go down a big blow up slide and it was with Aunt Katherine...she loved it!
Then, Daddy took her down the slide and Marcus went down the slide all by himself! Wow! I remember us doing that to Beck at Ava's third birthday party. I'm sure Kinsey will be pushed down the big slide at some point.
We got in a big round blow up and Beck ran with his turtle that he just got from Neena which was attached to a really large sucker. Funny story about the turtle and sucker...Neena thought the price was $7.95 but it was actually $17.95 and she got two of them (one for Beck and one for Kinsey)! Yikes!
I took Kinsey down the slide because she loves it so much and I screamed (a little)...it's a really big slide!
Kinsey went down the slide by herself and had the same facial expression that Marcus had when he went down by himself but they both smiled afterwards.
Can you tell that Beck is sweating? Beck ran the entire time and never went down the big slide! Poor little Otto was the only cousin that didn't get to play.
Is it possible that the adults had more fun than the kids? This was a really fun birthday party!
Can you believe that we actually got all of the kids to sit together for this picture?!?! I love it!
The Mickey Mouse cake not only looked awesome but it was delicious too! I usually cut the pizza into pieces for Kinsey so it was funny to see her grab it and start chowing down!
Beck and Kinsey loved the cake too! It was finger lickin' good! By the way, Kinsey had a ponytail in her hair before the party but she pulled it out on the way there and I couldn't find the rubber band.
Dad and son sharing the birthday hat...
When we got home, Beck and Kinsey actually had more energy and did every trick they could think of for Neena. They were so funny and so cute! She hasn't seen them in six months and they have both changed since then especially Kinsey. Needless to say, we all crashed that night.
The next morning, we ate breakfast at McDonald's then headed back to Gilmer. Kinsey fell asleep and Beck played on the iPad. At one point, we stopped for a bathroom break and it felt so good to get out and stretch my legs! Somebody was in the women's restroom at the gas station so I used the men's restroom after Daddy and Beck came out. It's a good thing I did because I looked up and saw Beck's turtle on top of the paper towel dispenser! He and Neena would have been crushed if we left it there! This was a very busy weekend but we had a lot of fun.
