Play Date

Kiki set up a play date for us to meet Heather (her husband, Jarod, is a dentist and works with Pops) and her two girls MacKenzi and Lidia on Wednesday, August 10 (this is the day after mom left for Costa Rica). There's only two months difference in age between Beck and MacKenzi and four months difference between Kinsey and Lidia. They moved here one month before we did and she was able to give me some tips on what she had found for the kids such as story telling time at the library on Thursday's.

They all got along great and had fun playing!

Kiki bought cookies for the kids to bake...Beck and Kenzi had fun placing them on the cookie sheets.

I have no idea where Beck got this idea but he started licking the cookies! Ewww, cooties!

While the cookies baked, we ate lunch...check out the many faces of Beck and Kenzi. I love it!

Kenzi cried very hard when it was time to go...poor thing!
