First Swim Class

At 9am on Saturday, we showed up at the Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium in Allen for Beck's first swim lesson. Beck looked so cute in his swim shirt and trunks! I've mentioned before that he likes to take things with him as we leave the house...well, today it was his little monster truck. He held that monster truck the entire time we were in the water. He also held onto me like a leech! And, he cried for almost the entire 30 minute class. This is Beck holding his little monster truck before class started and on the right is Natalie and Leigh (notice the giant water slide in the background)...
This place is really cool because it has a little water park area for the kids, a giant water slide and a lazy river. Halfway through the class, I decided to take him on the lazy river and let him feel the flow of the water. At this point, he did calm down...no more tears. This is us going to the lazy river...
Then, we joined the class as they were finishing up. Beck decided he wanted to play with the water bucket as everybody was getting out of the pool. I'm really hoping the next class will be better.
