Krueger Christmas (part two)

On our way to Shady Shores, I whipped out my big fancy camera to look at the pictures I had taken this morning and it would not power up because MY BATTERY WAS DEAD.  Urgh!!!  And, I don't have the charger with me so all of the pictures taken today was with my iPhone.

I told Kinsey to scoot over so Otto could join her on the bench swing and Lola posed for me.

Brent absolutely loves rubbing a baby's belly!  (Krysti's baby, Brady)

Kinsey had so much fun playing with all of her cousins but especially with Ava and Lola.

Beck asked me many times today if he could open his gift and the time to open gifts is finally here!!!  I brought a gift for Beck and Kinsey so they wouldn't feel left out during the white elephant gift exchange.  Beck was so excited to get a new Transformer.

Kinsey was very happy with her pink mermaid doll and new fancy shoes.

Chelsea was the very first person to open a gift and she chose mine...a set of lotion/body spray from Victoria's Secret.  This gift finally ended up with Vicky.  Kyle opened up an XL wine glass and he seems pretty happy about it.

Poor Kiki ended up with the one gift that nobody wanted.  I wonder if we will see it next year?

Krueger Christmas Bill's22
I know there's a lot going on in the collage so let me explain...I love the way Beck is sitting with his legs crossed, I love the way Haley is talking to Beck, I love Uncle Bill turning on one of the many musical Christmas decorations for Ava and Kinsey, I would love to be able to nap where ever I wanted and I love Chelsea's cute little elf, Canon!

We always have so much fun getting together with the family and it gets better every time because there are more kids and it's fun to watch them play.  We created lots of memories today.  A big thanks to Uncle Bill and Aunt Stevie for working so hard putting this together!  I can't wait to do this again next year!

After we left Shady Shores, we headed to Frisco which is where we are staying tonight.  We stopped at a gas station for a potty break, a small cup of hot chocolate and some slushies for the kids then we drove to Frisco's City Hall to see lots of Christmas lights coordinated with music.  We all enjoyed it!

Then, we finally made it to our hotel (Aloft) and Beck and Kinsey were so excited to stay in a hotel.  I've traveled so much with my two previous jobs that I had forgotten how much fun it is to stay in a hotel room.  By the way, Kinsey had on white tights before we left the house but she had a big messy diaper which led us to taking them off of her.  And, notice she is wearing her new fancy shoes.  I knew she would love them!  Also, they both went crazy when Daddy walked in the hotel as if they had not seen him in a long time.  It was so funny!

Beck and Kinsey immediately jumped on the two queen beds.

Beck told me that he wanted to stay in this hotel again because it has a refrigerator, a tv and cow skin!  So, those are the requirements of our next hotel. The part I enjoyed the most about our hotel experience was watching Beck move from the bed, to the couch, to the floor then back to the couch trying to find the perfect spot.  Kinsey does every thing big brother does so she was also testing out different spots.  He told us that he was sleeping on the couch under the tv but I knew that wouldn't last long.  He crawled into bed with Daddy as soon as the lights were turned off.  I don't blame him though, I'd much rather have a snuggle buddy than sleep alone.

On Sunday morning, we ate breakfast at McDonald's then drove to far north McKinney to look at my friend Leigh's new house.  They are completely remodeling it and it is a good-looking house!  Then, it was time to hit the road because Daddy was ready to get home to watch the Cowboys.  Both kids fell asleep on the drive home.

We ate dinner at a Mexican restaurant in town that serves green salsa and I ordered a yummy burrito.  To my surprise, Beck wanted to taste it then he ended up eating almost all of it!  How exciting!  We found something that he likes besides chicken!  I bribed the kids into taking this picture in front of the restaurants Christmas tree with candy out of a machine.  I love that they are holding hands and that they both have on rain boots!  I am so blessed!

Krueger Christmas (part one)

On our way to Shady Shores and the kids fell asleep pretty quickly and I wish I had caught some zzz's since it was an almost 3-hour drive.  Unfortunately, Kinsey's car seat is right behind me so my knees almost touch the dash board which makes for an uncomfortable ride.

There was so much food and I especially loved the corn nuggets that Aunt Katherine brought...oh so yummy!  Beck dug into the cake then he ate lots of ham after we opened gifts.

After we filled our bellies, it was picture time!  Let's start with the hostess with the mostess...(Too bad the Jones family couldn't be here then we would have had a lot more kiddos!)

Breakfast With Santa

12.08.12

Beck and his toys...he has a toy in his hand at all times.  He will carry a toy to school every morning and leave it in the car.
Breakfast with S Claus

It's so cute seeing the kids eating breakfast at church in their pj's!

And, the food was delicious!  Pancakes, sausage and a eggs...all of my favorites! The kids were provided with crayons and a page to color.

Guess who's here?  Yep, that's Santa at the door!
Breakfast with S Claus4

While waiting in line to sit in Santa's lap, Beck and Kinsey gave each other lots of hugs and a few kisses.  I took a million pictures because it was so cute!  It warms my heart to see these two love each other so much.

It's finally Beck and Kinsey's turn.  Usually, Kinsey is afraid of Santa but not this morning.  She gladly hopped in his lap.  This picture is considerably different than last year's picture!

Now, we need to pack and drive to Shady Shores for the Krueger Christmas party...off we go!

Friday Family Fun Night

12.07.12

On our way to meet Daddy...
Friday Football in Longview

After eating dinner, we headed over to the Longview football stadium to watch the Buckeyes in a play-off game with Neena and Stephen.
Friday Football in Longview1

Right before half-time, Beck and Daddy got some popcorn with Stephen.  Mom and I enjoyed watching the half-time show with Kinsey.  Henderson's drill team did a really cute step ladder routine and we were shocked to see they have 20 majorettes!
Friday Football in Longview2

The Stars did a spectacular red and green hoop routine...
Friday Football in Longview3

Not sure if you can tell but the Buckeye band created the letter "G" and jammed out instead of doing a boring military march.  It was really cool!
Friday Football in Longview4

The Buckeyes won and their next game will be in Mansfield!

On our way home, Beck and Kinsey got the biggest kick playing freeze out!  They held their hands out of the window until they could no longer stand it, roll up the window then tell me to feel their cold hand.  We laughed almost all the way home while they had fun getting cold then we sang Christmas songs.  Thanks for the good memories!

First National Bank

12.07.12

Mrs. Mason asked all of the kids to arrive at 8am on this Thursday morning and surprisingly, we made it!  I usually drop Beck off around 8:45 so getting there at 8 was very impressive.  And, all of the kids had to wear Christmas colors and a Santa hat.  They took a group picture in front of a nativity scene that is set up in front of the church then they all boarded the big bus.

The First National Bank has invited several groups to perform and Beck's school (First Baptist Church Child Development Center) is the second group to sing.

These kids have worked so hard preparing for this big day and they all did a great job!  I especially enjoyed the choreography that went along with each song.

Santa made an appearance while the kids were there and he gave each of them a cup filled with candy.  I stayed far away because Beck already asked if he could leave with me but I knew he would have more fun with his friends.  They drove around looking at Christmas decorations then ate lunch at McDonald's.

A big thanks to Neena, Stephen, Kiki and Daddy for coming to the bank to see little Beck sing Christmas songs!
