The kids built a Valentine's box at Lowe's this morning.
Then, we took them to the movie theater and the boys saw the Lego movie; the girls saw the Frozen sing-along movie but Kinsey did not sing-along until the credits started rolling. Lol!

Fun Friday!!!

It started snowing this afternoon!!! What a great start to my birthday palooza! Lol! And, let me tell you that the prayers that Beck said were oh-so-sweet asking our Heavenly Father to please give us lots of snow.
Unfortunately, the snow did not last long but I was happy to eat some Mexican food for dinner and Beck must have been tired since he fell asleep as we were driving to the restaurant.
It started snowing this afternoon!!! What a great start to my birthday palooza! Lol! And, let me tell you that the prayers that Beck said were oh-so-sweet asking our Heavenly Father to please give us lots of snow.
We definitely deserve some hot chocolate!
Beck got a much needed hair cut after dinner tonight and that completes our super fun Friday!

MOPS Dinner and Misc Pictures

Since we are assigned to a certain table at MOPS each semester, we planned a night for us to get together for dinner at a new restaurant not too far from our house. I think half of our table showed up tonight. Actually, there was another mom that sat with us for maybe 30 minutes but then she had to go to another table because she forgot about a birthday party that was for her friend at this same restaurant. It was a fun night...the best part was getting to eat sushi!
On another note, here are some sweet moments that I captured at our house recently...

My Aunt's Knee Surgery

My Aunt Trish is scheduled to have knee surgery today so Neena, Aunt Vickie and Aunt Rhonda met me for lunch before going to the hospital. Beck had no symptoms and did not run fever again so I felt like he was ok to get out of the house. He does not know I spiked his hair. Ha!
Trish was in surgery by the time we arrived so we hung out with my Uncle Chris until she was out of recovery. This was an extra-long day for Beck and Kinsey. There was a lot of sitting and waiting but I know Aunt Trish was so happy to see us when she was wheeled into her room. Plus, it was probably good for Beck too since he had fever yesterday. Rest is best and he never had any signs of being sick today so he went to school the next day. Kinsey and I visited Aunt Trish everyday she was there (Wed., Thurs. and Fri.)...she was released Saturday morning. I pray she has better luck with this surgery since the last one was not successful.

Super Bowl Sunday

My sweet friend, Misty, invited us over to her house for a Super Bowl party and she had quite the spread! There was way too much yummy food!
Unfortunately, this was the worst Super Bowl ever! Usually, the commercials are my favorite part of the game. Lol! However, they were so boring and the game was even more boring! We joked about playing board games because it was a complete bust. But, we enjoyed each others company and that's what matters the most anyway.

First Monday

We received a text message from the city that our water supply would be off today and we didn't know how long it would be off so we decided to take a road trip to Canton First Monday Trade Days. Vendors set up on Thursday before the first Monday of every month then they shut down on Sunday. It had rained earlier this morning so it wasn't crowded at all which was so nice. Beck and Kinsey really enjoyed playing in the mud puddles but they did not like walking and looking at all of the stuff! In fact, we had to carry Kinsey to the truck as we were leaving because she said her legs were broken. Beck's legs were worn out too! He would have loved it if somebody would have carried him but we couldn't because we had our hands full. I guess I should have brought the double stroller.
I have been on a mission to find something to go in between the windows in our living room. I wanted something that is a rectangular shape, made with wood and metal which has been quite difficult finding. Today is my lucky day because I finally found The Piece! Do you like it? This is the place to go for unique things for your home.

My super awesome hubby hung The Piece as soon as we got home. It is Perfect!

We took the kids to the pet store tonight and fell in love with this English bull dog so we asked to play with it. At this particular store, there are little closed-in areas for you to spend time with the animal. This sweet puppy was so lovable but the kids had nothing to do with it and kept asking to leave. Drats!

This is what they begged us to get...hermit crabs. Yuck!
It sure would be fun to have this in our house!
We came home with...molding clay. Lol! So, they created crabs with their clay. Ha!
