Fun Evening by the Pool

The weather is so nice right now and we are making the most of being outside without being attacked by mosquito's. Beck sure enjoys playing around the pool and I'm ready to see how he'll do in the pool.

And, Wendy's visit is almost over and she sure enjoyed spending time with the kids. She loves them SO much!

Riding the Jeep

On this particular day, we busted out the Jeep and Beck did a great job of keeping it in our front yard. And, he gave Marcus a ride! It was so cute seeing them riding it together.

I put Kinsey in the fence to keep her from crawling into the street and sometimes I put Marcus in it to keep him from walking into the neighbors yard.

Just a Swingin'

Wendy is spending the week with us and it is so much easier to take the kids to the park with an extra set of hands. Kinsey and Casey had so much fun in the baby swings! Beck would not play and waited until one of the babies got out of the swing so he could get in it! I get the feeling he wants more attention.

As you can see, Beck insists on riding the single stroller but he's way too big for it and it's almost impossible to push it with him in it! So, this is going to be the last ride in his favorite stroller. Wendy loves to tickle Beck and I sure enjoy capturing those special moments.

Jeff's Calling

The day after Beck's birthday party, we went to Jeff and Jill's church because Jeff was asked to become the new Young Men's President. Jeff is very honored the church asked him to step into this position and we are so proud of him.

Before we went inside I took a few pictures of us because the kids looked too cute all dressed up! I'm not sure if you can tell but Beck has a Thomas the Train in each hand and Brent is carrying his Thomas the Train carrier! That's our entertainment during church! It was very windy that day so my hair looks crazy!

Birthday Party for Beck!!!

Today is the big day and Beck is so excited that all of his friends and family will be at his house to celebrate his 3rd birthday! The theme of his party is based around Thomas the Train but he pretty much loves ALL trains! He will point out train tracks anytime we are driving around. We bought a Thomas the Train costume but it was way too warm for him to wear it...I'm so bummed that we didn't get at least one picture of him wearing it. We also bought conductor hats for all of the kids to wear but it was way to windy.

Luckily, Neena and Aunt Wendy got to our house around 10am so they could watch the kids while Brent and I do stuff to get ready for the party. Beck couldn't stand it, he had to open the gifts from Neena and Aunt Wendy...of course it was lots of Thomas the Train stuff! He loved it!

I'm so glad I got family pictures before the party started because this would not have happened once everybody got here.

And, it was so nice having the party at our house versus the park...we were ready when the first guests arrived. Yeah! We set up the bounce house, roller coaster, Little Tykes climber for the kids, the fence for Kinsey, table and chairs for the adults. I loved our set-up!

Neena bought this dress for Kinsey and it was perfect for the party!

The bubble machine was fun to have but not as fun as the other stuff we had set up...

I was really hoping that everybody would eat outside especially since we had just steam cleaned the carpet and I didn't want a loaded hot dog to fall on the floor. However, it was way too hot and everybody wanted to eat inside where it was cool. Luckily, there were no accidents. Yeah!

Kinsey enjoyed playing with Beck's birthday balloon...

After we finished eating, we cut this good looking Thomas the Train cake that I got from Kroger and after the party I discovered there was a movie of Thomas in the face of the cake!

Then, we opened gifts...

It worked out perfectly because by the time we went back outside, it wasn't as hot and much more comfortable.

Brent and I never imagined that the galvanized tub would be such a huge hit with Beck, Ava and Lola. They loved playing in the icy cold water!

Then, Ava and Lola started fighting over the shovel while Beck continued to play in the cold water...

Marcus was the only boy that came to Beck's party so I thought it would be cute to get a picture of Beck and all of his "lady" friends! Too cute!

After the party ended, we went to the back to show Brian and Katherine the swing set that Brent built...Kinsey loves the slide!

All in all, the party was a huge success...I think everybody had a good time and it seemed like everything worked out smoothly. A big thanks to Neena, Aunt Wendy, Pops and Kiki for watching Kinsey and for helping clean up! Thanks to all for putting Beck's party on the right track!
