General Conference Weekend

Wes and Kath came into town for General Conference weekend so we met them Friday night along with Brian and Katherine at Spring Creek Bar-b-que. Here's a picture of Beck showing off his royalty wave...


Saturday night, the boys listened to some awesome speakers while the girls met at Grand Lux Cafe at the Galleria Mall then we let the kids play. Cousin Ava loves to hold Beck's hand and gives him lots of hugs and kisses.

Cool Shoes

I'm the very frugal mom that shops at children's re-sale stores because honestly, why spend lots of money on clothes that need to be replaced within months. There's an awesome place called Once Upon a Child near our house and we found Beck a really cool pair of shoes. These are size 7 and Beck is 18-months old (really big feet for his age). I know Uncle Brian and Aunt Katherine will be so proud.

Happy Birthday Ava!!!

Ava's birthday is August 2, but this year we celebrated her 3rd birthday on Saturday, September 12th at a rec center near White Rock lake. They had a huge slide for the kids which all loved, delicious cake, face painting and a few of the big boys got to shoot some hoops.

Cake from Society Bakery...Ava loves her sister, Lola...Weeee...Caroline, Chelsea, Krysti and Haylee...Strawberry cake...yummy!!!

Beck's New Toy

On Friday, September 11th, Brent searched for a really cool play house for Beck and ended up getting one in Carrollton. That evening, Brent put it together and Beck loves it!
