Lauren Alexander Bridal Shower

Melanie K. asked me to help with Lauren's bridal shower and I was happy to help.  The shower was at Sandie T.'s house and it was beautifully decorated.

I'm not sure what got into me but I made personalized lemon bars.

And, banana pudding in clear cups adorned with white tulle.  I was pretty impressed with my contribution!

Lauren played a fun game.

Then, she opened presents.  It was such a fun night but I'm so disappointed that I did not take more pictures.

Homecoming Parade and Young Women Knitting

The kids built a fort for their Halloween stuffed animal.

Fresh has a cute pumpkin display.

Patiently waiting with Cutter for the homecoming parade to start.

Found a spot to watch the parade.

We saw the bands, the drill team, the cheerleaders, a fire truck and some other stuff.

And, Beck scored some candy!

I learned how to knit at the Young Women activity tonight!  This picture is priceless!  Stacie E. is cracking up and poor Tammy L. is completely frustrated. 

This is how much I accomplished tonight.

This is the final product!  I did it!  I am so excited!!!  The lady that taught the knitting class gave us the fancy flower to attach to our headband.

Now Kinsey wants me to make one for her.

Pumpkins in Longview

We have a 10am appointment with Dr. Miner in Longview so he can look at the work he'll do in a few weeks on Beck's teeth.  Why rush back to Bullard when we can spend the day playing with Nina?  Beck helped me pick out a very large pumpkin from Sam's for only $10!

Then, we went to Ellis Pottery because they have the best pumpkin patch!

Plus, they have a lot of areas for perfect pictures!

Their Big Mac pumpkins are $70 which makes my $10 pumpkin from Sam's a big-time bargain!  The selection of pumpkins at Ellis Pottery really is impressive.

Ellis Pottery also has a fun hay maze for the kids.

Beck loves showing Nina around.

We discovered a super cute trail behind the store!

A tractor!  You must visit Ellis Pottery this time of the year!

Tomorrow is the first day of autumn!

Worldwide Day of Play

We can't wait to see what this is all about at the Bullard city park!

Getting our face painted is so much fun!

At 2pm, I went to the Whitehouse YMCA for a special Zumba class (I think the instructor was from Russia.).
